My Mother was born in 1927 and from the day she first opened her eyes to the world she started collecting. The first obsession was clothing, the second jewelry, the third everything else. The home I grew up in is full from top to bottom with just about anything imaginable. Dad has been known to threaten to set a match to the whole thing if Mom didn't clean it all out. So, now that I'm an adult and genetically predisposed to the same collecting disease, my Mother is passing down all her cherished things to me.
