Large exterior mosaics are in a league all their own. This tri-colored blue piece is the center of an enormous wall design. The design was inspired by an ancient Byzantium design which I stretched out and slightly distorted to fit my clients wall.
This center piece is a sample board of the materials that will be used throughout the entire mosaic. Cobalt tiles, deep blue porcelain tile, hand made pieces with palm trees and other beach-y scenes, Italian smalti, hand cut stained glass, glass globs, circles, hearts, and miscellaneous other blue, turquoise and white pieces.
