In some way or another I have been drawn to create since my first memories. My greatest entertainment was to have a box of crayons or paints and enough paper to hold me over for an afternoon. Sewing was an early challenge, tackling my Mothers' old crank and foot pedal Singer machine at about the age of six. Someone was always asking me to do something artistic for them whether it was to hem a pair of pants or draw their pet.

I've been through the high school and college aspects of fine art training but somehow ended up in the restaurant business for the better part of twenty years.  As with any job, sometimes the things that matter most in your life fall to the wayside while you try to make a living. Through those years my creative side has always been a hobby, a passion, and a place to regain balance when life got crazy. 

As you peruse my site you'll find, what I commonly refer to, as my world of sanity creations. I am a one woman show in all aspects of what you see here. I draw, sew, bake, paint, sculpt, collect, baby sit, dig, plant, plaster, cook, organize, create, dust, iron, design, write, glue, photograph, woodwork, eat, wrap, cut, decorate, and four dozen other adjectives I can think of!
